Intensive treatment is available as an adjunct service through a separate business, Intersections Wellness Intensive Treatment (IWIT). Inquiries from referring therapists and interested prospective clients are welcome.
Paula Soto maintains a small caseload of hourly therapy clients receiving adjunct EMDR therapy. This means that each client must have a primary therapist for ongoing work. Adding adjunct EMDR allows clients to remain with their therapist of choice, while receiving focused, shorter term treatment to overcome obstacles to achieving their desired therapy outcomes. At this time, Paula is only accepting self pay adjunct EMDR clients via Intersections Wellness Intensive Treatment; please inquire with Paula if you wish to explore hourly options that fit within the Client Centered Intensive Treatment model.
Client Centered Intensive Treatment:
Paula's busy schedule does not allow for consistent weekly appointments, as Paula offers intensive treatment (sometimes booking one full week to work with one client), and also works in several non-client-facing roles. Paula's adjunct therapy clients often choose to do multiple, closely scheduled sessions to dive into deep, trauma-focused work, alternating with a period of time with no adjunct therapy sessions, integrating the progress and receiving support as needed from the primary therapist. Paula's rates are listed in the FAQ.
Paula offers intensive EMDR treatment through her other business, Intersections Wellness Intensive Treatment LLC.
At this time, we are unable to accept new clients who are using insurance for therapy. We welcome inquiries from therapists who do take insurance, who wish to explore joining Intersections Wellness. Paula Soto is not accepting new clients using insurance.
Jax Lambert, formerly working with Intersections Wellness, is a highly recommended colleague. People seeking therapy using their insurance are encouraged to reach out to Jax at their new place of work, Cornerstone Wellness in Beaver, PA.
