Faith Lambert works with children age 8+, teens, adults, and families. She has over 12 years of experience in the community mental health setting, 2 years of experience in family-based therapy, over a year of private practice outpatient, and decades of outdoor experience. Faith received her graduate degree from Geneva College in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is currently pursuing training (expected completion: end of 2024) for the CCAT (Certified Clinical Adventure Therapist) through the AEE (Association for Experiential Education). Faith's Evergreen Adventure Therapy is a valued collaborative partner of Intersections Wellness.
Faith approaches counseling holistically from a trauma-informed perspective while utilizing evidenced-based techniques including Experiential Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, TF-CBT, and aspects of CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), Somatic Therapy, and mindfulness. Faith is currently receiving training in EMDR therapy. Faith works collaboratively with her clients, personalizing her treatment approach to individual needs.
Faith treats a variety of struggles including ADHD, anxiety, depression, family conflicts, LGBTQIA+ issues, life transitions, and trauma. Faith offers an environment that is genuine, affirming, nonjudgmental, and empowering.
Faith can incorporate Adventure Therapy into sessions; such as hiking, creeking, orienteering, other activities, as well as sitting by the river or walking around a park.
In her spare time, Faith enjoys being in nature and hiking with her dog, Fern.
