About NET (Network for Ethical Treatment)
Network for Ethical Treatment (NET) is an emerging nonprofit building a collaborative, high-standards provider network dedicated to ethically delivered, trauma-competent, culturally responsive mental health care. NET focuses on delivering intensive EMDR treatment within a comprehensive model known as Client Centered Intensive Treatment (CCIT) - a scalable, adaptable system designed to improve access to high-quality trauma care across populations.
NET’s work is rooted in the belief that people will seek and engage in effective mental health treatment when they have:
NET’s mission is to raise the ethical, clinical, and cultural standards of trauma treatment by providing collaborative, client-centered intensive programs and building a network of highly trained providers committed to excellent, evidence-based care.
Why this matters/Why now?
NET envisions a mental health landscape where every person has access to competent, culturally responsive trauma care – delivered by providers who uphold high ethical standards, collaborate across systems, and empower clients to choose the timing and structure of their healing.
NET is building a national network of clinicians who commit to NET’s standards of clinical training, ongoing professional development, and to the Client Centered Intensive Treatment Model of care. NET-affiliated clinicians will receive ongoing mentorship and access to professional development resources, and are able to work for the self-pay rates that they, as independent professionals, determine. NET actively advocates for sustainable business practices that support trauma therapists to protect their health from burnout while maintaining financial security.
All current and aspiring EMDR Intensive Therapists are invited to join NET's EMDR Intensive Therapists Groups.io to access peer consultation, professional development resources and a growing referral network. Clinicians who meet and commit to maintaining NET's clinical and ethical standards will have the opportunity to join our clinician collective and become part of our programs and referral system. There is no cost to join the Groups.io, nor to affiliate with NET as a vetted network clinician.
NET's immediate focus is to establish special population trauma-focused treatment programs, provide public health education, and support clinician professional development, as we cultivate a national network of clinicians to meet the existing needs for ethically delivered mental healthcare.
NET's first program is Frontline Intensive Trauma Treatment (FITT). In alignment with our operational foundation, the Client Centered Intensive Treatment Model, NET is working to provide educational resources for our stakeholders, our clinicians, and the general public.
